Symptoms of Diabetes

Diabetes, is a group of diseases characterized by high blood glucose levels that result from defects in the body's ability to produce and/or use insulin.

Diabetes has become a serious health issue among many, it often goes undiagnosed because many of its symptoms seem so harmless. Recent studies indicate that the early detection of diabetes symptoms and treatment can decrease the chance of developing the complications of diabetes.
The cells fail to metabolize glucose and that results tiredness. The body starts to break reserved fats to gain energy. Breaking the fat requires more energy that the glucose can produce. That makes the body more tired. This can be work as a symptom, indicating diabetes.

But there are still some symptoms that can easily disregarded by a diabetic person, and in this article I'm going to discuss some of the basic symptoms of diabetes.

1. Unusual thirst - The glucose concentration started to increase in our body and the body requires to delute it, and now the body urges for more water to intake.

2. Frequent Urination -  too much glucose in our body system may lead to frequent urination. The body tends to free extra sugar through urine. It may also leads to dehydration because of a big amount of water drained from out body.

3. Extreme hunger - When the blood sugar increases, the body tries to produce more insulin. This leads to increased hunger. Extreme hunger is one of the most prominent signs of increased blood sugar in the body.

4. Unusual weight loss - Loosing excess water and body fat metabolism result in weight loss. It happens suddenly and occurs as a clear symptom. Some people start to gain weight because of the hunger. This fluctuation is surely a diabetes symptom.

5. Extreme Fatigue and irritability - The glucose supply to the brain decreases because of diabetes which is the main cause of irritation. You start to feel uneasy and your body feels tiredness. You will tend to sleep more because of this. This is a big symptom that indicates rise of blood pressure.

6. Unhealed cut/wounds - One of the clearest signs of diabetes is the slow healing of cut and wounds on our body.
